Endorsement Process
The NC Sierra Club issues endorsements for local and statewide candidates, and partners with the National Sierra Club Political Committee in making endorsements at the federal level. Volunteer committees learn about the candidates' environmental positions through such sources as questionnaires, interviews, candidate forums and past records.
*The last full round of endorsements took place in 2006.
