Raleigh Greenway Bike Outing for Kids and Parents/Guardians

When:

Sunday, Jun 01, 2008
Start Time – 10:30 a.m.

Details:

Enjoy Raleigh's beautiful and mostly flat greenway system on a guided bike ride for kids 6-10 and their parent/or a guardian adult.  Ride will be paced to accommodate kids' riding abilities and endurance and is designed to introduce families to Raleigh's great greenway system.

Bring a picnic lunch and blanket, or pick up lunch afterwards at McDonalds, and join the group for an optional bite to eat after the ride in the grassy area behind McDonalds.  New Greenway maps provided after ride so families can continue exploring Greenways in the future on their own.

Ride limited to 16 participants.  Riders must RSVP by 5/31/08.  All children must be accompanied by a guardian adult also on a bike.  Permission and waiver must be signed in advance by parent of any child not accompanied by his/her adult parent.

Directions:

Meet in Greenway gravel parking lot immediately behind McDonalds at 4121 Blue Ridge Rd./Raleigh, NC 27612 (the McDonalds behind Crabtree Valley Mall)
