Details:

The moon isn't being cooperative for a Perseid meteor shower trip this year so instead we'll feast on blueberries! Our trek will take us to the cool balds of the rooftop of Virginia.

Learn the history of these high balds and why they now offer some of the best wild blueberries you can find! We will also see the wild ponies that help maintain the openness of the area. Moderate backpack.

This trip requires a refundable at the trail head deposit of $10 made out to the Sierra Club. Participants will need to sign our standard club waiver. Please contact the leader for more information.

Although not part of the trip, Sierra Club encourages all our participants to car pool and share expenses equally.
