Hikers on an outing

We're building upon 100 years of wilderness experience

Join other environmentally conscious, adventurous individuals on one of our fun and educational trips that introduce you to the wild places in your own backyard. Share an outing with your friends and family, or go solo and meet new people. These outings may be day hikes, backpacking trips, canoe trips, biking trips, or afternoon forays into the remaining natural areas of local cities.

You do not have to be a Sierra Club member to participate in outings. Members and non-members must register with the contact person listed with the outing. No firearms or radios are allowed. Pets are not permitted unless specifically stated. A deposit may be required by the leader to ensure that those who sign up also attend. Be sure to bring appropriate clothing, appropriate footwear, any required equipment, and a smile.
